April Lockhart
April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She started piano and guitar lessons in the 7th grade, which ignited the interest of her. at the age of 12, April wrote her first song Different. When she was 14 April was devoted for a long period of time in writing song ideas and practicing her musical skills. Soon, April began to take trips in NY and LA along with her dad to help them write songs. April added other themes to the song "Take My Hand" to help her acquaintances who faced problems like peer pressure, issues, or even teens who committed suicide. Lockhart, a popular lifestyle influencer, as well as working in partnerships with brands that are clean and healthy like Ilia, has built a large audience. She was born without her left hand and that is an aspect of her identity, but that's not the entire story. Lockhart doesn't deny her disability in her posts on Instagram, however she does not make it the main focus of it. The message is? We all have multiple aspects of identities and we're beyond our physical bodies. Lockhart in a video messages from his Nashville at home, claims that I don't wish for this to define me. I am more than my physical self. My daily life isn't affected by it. I go about my regular, everyday life and find my own solutions to issues. Because it's an integral part of me, it's something that's worthy of discussion. Lockhart's self-acceptance journey is one that will last for a long time, and she can be a role model for this purpose. Even so, Lockhart admits that she has had periods of feeling uneasy about her appearance as well as wearing clothes with arms. She wears whatever she wants and is proud to post pictures of herself wearing the clothes she chooses on social media. It's all a process is the most important thing. I don't know that it will be an end about self-love. But I think that's for everyone, whatever the source of their anxiety. I think it is important to be surrounded by those who are able to know the person you are.
