Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France was born on the 9th August, 1976. Audrey Tautou is an elder child out of 4. At a young age, both her dental surgeon parents and her teacher mother supported Audrey's love of theater and drama. This passion which trumped her original desire to be primatologist. Her meteoric rise as an actress in her early years was quick and marked by her early successes. After completing her education, she was selected to participate in Jeunes Premiers which is a French TV talent-scouting programme that was sponsored by Canal+. There she received the award for best Young Actress in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. This led her to pursue a professional acting career. While she attended the Institut Catholique de Paris and went to church as a child, Tautou has stayed away from her religious upbringing and has stated that she's not Catholic. She pursued a modelling career alongside her acting career and is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel frequently referred to as the Chanel Muse. Additionally, she is a keen passion for photography. She recently presented an exhibit of her work during the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. Photography of her is primarily focused on fame and celebrity and turns the camera on the media who sat on her shoulders following her sudden rise in fame and fortune with Amelie and several self-portraits. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and acclaim with her big part in the film Le Fabuleux d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie is an international box office success and recognized at many awards festivals around the globe. It's the biggest French language film to ever be released to be released in the US. In the years following the release of this film, Tautou starred in many films that ranged from British dramas up to Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
