In accepting the Republican vice-presidential nod Cheney declared that he's looking at serving alongside an administration that will strive to achieve his goals by working across the political aisle and working alongside political adversaries with good will and a common goals. Richard Bruce Cheney is the father of Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born January 30, 1941 at Lincoln Nebraska. At the age of 13, Richard Bruce accompanied his parents from Nebraska to Casper (in the US state of Wyoming) where his father was director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's the district for soil conservation.
